Old Binaries for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me
This page lists the old binaries that may work for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me platofrms. If you are using Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP or better please download the software from the normal software download page.
Common Files
Most of the tools listed here are written using C++ and MFC, using Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows NT 4.0. Some of the tools are compiled as ANSI and some are compiled as UNICODE. Most of the programs will run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Some computers may not have the correct DLLs required to support the C runtime and MFC. The required files are MSVCRT.DLL, MFC42.DLL, MFC42U.DLL and OLEAUT32.DLL. The common controls may also be required, but it is more likely that the correct version of these DLLs is already on your machine.
Try running the binaries, if they don't run properly because a DLL is missing, download the redistributable versions of MSVCRT.DLL, MFC42.DLL, MFC42U.DLL and OLEAUT32.DLL by using the common files installer.
Make backups of any DLLs that you replace on your machine. Only install these DLLs if you do not already have them. Object Media will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from installing these DLLs on your machine.
